International Positive Dog Training Association
Setting The International Standard For Humane Dog Training
About Us
_November 1, 2010
Dear Valued Members,
I founded IPDTA in 2002, have spent over nine years running the association and don’t regret a minute of it. However, even with the much appreciated assistance I’ve received over the years, running IPDTA has been a huge responsibility and it’s time for me to focus my energy elsewhere. Rest assured I’ve taken steps to ensure the needs of our members will continue to be met. Your new association will stand strong for humane dog training, and new opportunities will be available to you.
As of January 1, 2012, IPDTA will become an information portal for the purpose of providing information about positive dog training, educational opportunities, to host the IPDTA Certification Examination and list IPDTA Certified Trainers. It will no longer include membership – for membership click here; www.IAFPP.org.
Caryn Charlie Liles will continue IPDTA, its membership, goals, ideals and opportunities under the new name of International Association of Force Free Pet Professional – www.IAFPP.org. – to continue to meet the needs of our members. This association will follow the same Mandate and Code of Conduct, and will offer the same benefits (and more) as IPDTA. Please contact Caryn to enjoy free membership until the end of the 2011.
Caryn is a fantastic dog trainer and a strong advocate of positive reinforcement dog training. She has all the skills required to run a solid association and has new and wonderful ideas for improving it. I fully support Caryn and the new association and will become its first member (after Caryn of course) :o)
I’d like to thank everyone who assisted me in the running of IPDTA and our events. I’d also like to thank those who remained loyal over the years and stood by me through all our challenges and changes. I know our new association will be even better as we stand united against abuse in the name of dog training.
Sincerely;
Norma Jeanne Laurette
