Because one of the IPDTA’s goals is to set the international standard for the humane application of acceptable dog training and behaviour modification tools and techniques, and to set this standard through the research, debate and voting process, you must agree, during your presentation, to not present or defend any tool or technique, that has been voted unacceptable that is; under debate or has yet to be debated and may be controversial, or that was designed to create fear or pain. You are welcome to discuss any of the controversial tools or techniques in a factual manner as long as you are not presenting them as an option or defending their use.
